We all know that as Polonius observed "Brevity is the soul of wit." No one  knows this better than the broadcast advertising writer. S/he has 15-30seconds to sell the product. You have to find the essence of the product and communicate that in a very short time. You have to be focused. Here's your task, write a 30 second spot for your work in progress whether it is a short story or an epic novel, a magazine article or a nonfiction book. Focus on two things: What is the essence of the book? And Why should anyone buy it? And try to keep it interesting.
